Renovation of Liege museums for the benefit of visitors SPI+ has called for tenders for the renovation of two of the city’s museums - the Arms Museum and the Curtius House and Museum, both located on the same site. Today, this site consists of several buildings, classified as historical monuments, which currently house different museums. The new project intends to renovate the buildings to create one single museum for visitors to enjoy. The project is co-financed by the European Regional and Development Fund (ERDF), the Walloon Region and the French Community. On the basis of financial-economic and technical criteria, SPI+ is selecting 8 to 12 candidates for an interview. The selection process and preparatory studies will have to be completed by the end of this year, while the expectation is that the project will be finished by the end of 2001. For further information, please contact Mrs Françoise Lejeune, Director Infrastructures or Mrs Sophie De Clerck, Responsible Expert, SPI+, Tel: +32/4/230.11.74 and Fax: +32/4/230.11.20
