In addition to these internationally well known events, Spa is also famous for its thermal springs and bubble baths, the quality of its water, and the wealth of its numerous forests. The Park of Hautes-Fagnes, close to Spa, is the largest natural reserve in the country. Here you can wander along one of its numerous paths or even go skiing in the winter months. In the park you can find the caves of Remourchamps with Europe's longest underground river, which can be visited by boat. On that theme, if you like rivers then sailing down the Ambleve river close to Spa, admiring the waterfalls of Coo, is an experience you will not easily forget.
