Castles in Liege : the road back to yesterday

Here are four of the most important castles in the area (but there are many more):
- Jehay castle is a superb architectural example of Renaissance Mosane;
It houses rich artistic collections, as well as archeological and
speleogical displays.
- Modave castle where Japanese marriages and honeymoons take place
- Reinhardstein castle, remarkably well preserved medieval architecture.
- Anthisnes castle hosts two museums: one for beer, the other for local gin,
the famous "pekêt".
